Favorite sushi spot in the Bay! They only do takeouts after covid, so kind of sad I can't eat here with my friends. But I still love getting sushi here once in a while!
Inari is my favorite sushi, and they make it really well! The Chaya rolls are pretty good. My favorite ones are probably the Haku rolls - fried yam and shiitake mushrooms just really hit the spot. So good!
I always bring my own container to save plastic. They are always very accommodating about it! Love Chaya :)

Inari and haku rolls

Just ordered takeout from here and it really hit the spot. Sushi is one of my favorite foods and since going vegetarian I haven't found many good alternatives. I will definitely come back! The cha-ya roll was fresh and warm and flavorful. I would add wasabi if I had some in my dorm, but besides that, it was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks, cha-ya!

I love Cha-ya! The salad with shredded radish, cucumber, carrot, and topped with edamame and sunflower seeds is SO GOOD. One of the few raw veg dishes that I thoroughly enjoy mouthfuls of. The veggie tempura sticks were incredible, and the cucumber roll was my fav.
